Templates

Create a New Template

If you have a unique workflow that you think could be reused, you can save it as a template. Here’s how:

Develop the Workflow

Create your workflow as usual within the workflow editor. Add all necessary nodes and configurations to meet your requirements.

Save as a Template

Once your workflow is ready, look for the option to save it as a template. This is in the options dropdown - labeled "Save as Template"

When saving, add a comprehensive description of what the workflow does and why it is useful. Include any steps and points to be aware of and you can also set a category.

Note: Credentials Stripping for Security

Be aware that when you save a workflow as a template, any credentials associated with nodes will be stripped out. This security measure ensures that no sensitive information is inadvertently shared.

To make it clear to users, you might want to include a note in the description that credentials need to be re-added when using the template.

Accessibility

Users within your organization or the community can now access and use your template. They will need to add the relevant credentials once they decide to use it.
